EU condemns fatal attack on ship

07/03/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 7 March, the European Union strongly condemned Wednesday’s attack on the Barbados-flagged and Liberian-owned bulk carrier True Confidence while transiting the Gulf of Aden. US authorities reported that three crew members died and six others were injured. And according a shipping source quoted by Reuters, four sailors were seriously burned and three are missing.
