Highest average sea surface temperature in warmest February on record, according to Copernicus

07/03/2024 (Agence Europe) – February 2024 was the warmest on record, with the water surface reaching a record average temperature compared with any month in the dataset, the European Commission’s climate change observatory, Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), reported on Thursday 7 March.
