European Commission authorises Bulgarian aid worth around €61.3 million to support cereal and oilseed producers

07/03/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 7 March, the European Commission announced that it had authorised a Bulgarian State aid scheme worth around €61.3 million (BGN 120 million) to support farmers and producers of cereals and oilseeds (wheat, barley, rapeseed, maize and sunflower), whose financial liquidity may be affected by the disruption of agricultural markets as a result of Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine.
