ACER will examine proposed changes to improve efficiency of European energy balancing market

On 28 February, the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) announced that it would be assessing the proposed changes provided by Transmission System Operators (TSOs) to the methodology and pricing framework for electricity balancing platforms.

These proposals, received on 7 February, aim to improve the efficiency of energy balancing markets within the European Union.
