Thirty-four European companies call on Commission to get tough with Apple on DMA

In a letter dated 1 March and sent to Commissioners Margrethe Vestager and Thierry Breton, 34 European companies, including Spotify, BeReal and Deezer, set out their concerns about Apple’s compliance with the new rules of the Digital Markets Act (DMA).

“We are very concerned that Apple’s proposed scheme for compliance with the Digital Markets Act (DMA), as communicated on 25 January 2024, will not meet the law’s requirements”, they write.
