MEPs approve agreements with EU Council on maritime safety

04/03/24 (Agence Europe) – With 27 votes in favour and one against, members of the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism (TRAN) approved the provisional agreement with the EU Council on combating pollution from ships (see EUROPE B13352A6) on Monday 4 March. They also unanimously approved (29 votes) the provisional agreement with the Council on the investigation of maritime accidents (see EUROPE B13348A15).
