EU sanctions five high-ranking Guatemalan officials

02/02/24 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 2 February, the European Union adopted sanctions against five high-ranking Guatemalan officials who attempted to obstruct the inauguration of the new president, Bernardo Arévalo, in mid-January (see EUROPE B13328A22).
