Jan Vyčítal appointed Head of EUBAM Libya Mission

05/12/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 4 December, the ambassadors of the EU Member States meeting within the Political and Security Committee decided to appoint the Czech diplomat Jan Vyčítal as Head of the European Union Border Assistance Mission in Libya (EUBAM Libya). Mr Vyčítal, currently his country’s ambassador to Tunisia and Libya, will take up his post on 1 January 2024 for an initial period up to 30 June 2025.
