EU Council expected to adopt revised recovery plans of around ten Member States

On Friday 8 December, the European finance ministers are due to adopt the revised post-Covid-19 recovery plans of at least nine Member States, which, in addition to the revised Bulgarian plan, contain ‘REPowerEU’ chapters designed to accelerate the energy transition and reduce dependence on Russian hydrofluorocarbons (see EUROPE B13294A25, B13297A17).
