European Banking Authority calls on EU co-legislator to finalise ‘Basel III’ reform

On Monday 23 October, the Chairman of the European Banking Authority (EBA), José Manuel Campa, expressed the hope that the EU institutions would be able to finalise - as soon as possible - the technical discussions aimed at concluding the political agreement on the legislative package introducing the remaining ‘Basel III’ banking prudential standards into the EU.
