‘modernising justice’, EU Council ratifies Regulation on exchange of information in terrorism cases

18/09/23 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 18 September, the Council of the European Union gave its final approval to the Regulation on the circulation of information in terrorism cases. This text, on which a final agreement was reached last December (see EUROPE B13085A16), is part of the ‘modernising justice’ package and aims to put in place a digital infrastructure for the management and storage of data linked to terrorism.
