Urban Wastewater Directive, MEPs to vote on draft ‘Torvalds’ report on Wednesday

Members of the European Parliament’s Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) will vote on Wednesday 20 September on the proposed recast of Directive 91/271/EEC concerning urban waste-water treatment, a text submitted by the European Commission in October 2022 to combine the objective of cleaner water by 2030 with energy savings at treatment plants (see EUROPE B13051A2).
