European Parliament ratifies interinstitutional agreement on ‘Credit Agreements in Digital Age’ directive

On Tuesday 12 September, the European Parliament validated, by an overwhelming majority (608 votes in favour, 8 against and 15 abstentions), the political agreement reached in December 2022 by the three EU institutions (Parliament, Council of the EU, Commission) to adapt consumer credit agreements to the digital age (see EUROPE B13076A3).
