On Friday 11 August, the European Commission adopted a modification to the work programme of the European Innovation Council (EIC) for 2023. This amendment introduces two coordination and support actions.
The first of these actions is a next-generation innovation talent scheme, the aim of which is to enable eligible researchers in receipt of European funding to carry out an innovation internship in a host company funded by the EIC or the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
The second coordination and support action introduced by the amendment of 11 August aims to provide EIC beneficiaries with financial assistance to access the services of partners in the research and innovation ecosystem in Europe and elsewhere.
Calls for proposals for both programmes opened on 16 August.
