ERC to offer European support of €150,000 to 66 projects through ‘Proof of Concept’ grants

28/07/23 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 27 July, the European Research Council (ERC) unveiled its selection of 66 projects that will receive European financial support as part of the second round of Proof of Concept Grants for 2023. This grant programme aims to support researchers from all disciplines who want to explore the commercial and societal potential of their research. Each grant amounts to €150,000, awarded under the EU’s framework programme for research and innovation, Horizon Europe. The total annual budget for the grant programme is €30 million. The next deadline for taking part in the programme’s third call this year is 21 September.
