EU General Court rules on access to documents used in a comitology procedure

14/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 14 June, the General Court of the European Union annulled Decision C(2021)2541 by which the European Commission had refused Member States access to their votes in a comitology procedure during the revision of Regulation (EC) No. 1925/2006 concerning plant species containing hydroxyanthracene derivatives (Case T-201/21). According to the General Court, the Commission could not base its refusal on the exception to Regulation (EC) No. 1049/2001...
