On Wednesday 14 June, the Permanent Representatives of the twenty-seven Member States to the EU backed by a large majority the provisional agreement reached the previous week between European Parliament and Council negotiators(see EUROPE B13195A1).
It is now up to the MEPs to approve the text so that the Council can formally adopt it and it can enter into force.
