The latest monthly report on agri-food trade—published by the European Commission on Thursday, 8 June—shows that after a good start in January, the EU’s agri-food trade further increased its surplus by 33% month-to-month (in February) to reach €5.4 billion.
Exports of agri-food products reached €18.6 billion in terms of value, that being 10% higher than in February 2022. At the same time, EU imports amounted to €13.3 billion, down for the third consecutive month.
