Member States approve European Parliament/Council provisional agreement on geographical indications for industrial and craft products

24/05/23 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 24 May, the Member States’ ambassadors to the EU (Coreper) approved the provisional agreement on the protection of industrial and craft products. The co-signatories had reached an agreement after two negotiating sessions (‘trilogues’) (see EUROPE 13174/7). The Parliament must in turn approve the text for it to be formally adopted by the Council and enter into force. (LM)
