EU announces €17 million in support to UN for coordinated implementation of 2030 Agenda in each country

The European Union is mobilising €17 million to support the ‘UN Resident Coordinators’ who lead the United Nations Sustainable Development Group (UNSDG) to support countries in implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development - the so-called 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The amount, which covers the EU’s contribution for 2022 and 2023, was announced by the EU Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jutta Urpilainen ,at the ongoing Fifth UN...
