EU invites Volodymyr Zelensky to bilateral summit on 3 February 2023

22/12/2022 (Agence Europe) – The Presidents of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, have invited the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, to attend the EU/Ukraine Summit on Friday 3 February. While the date of the summit has been confirmed, its location - Brussels or Kyiv - has not yet been decided. The invitation comes after Mr Zelensky visited Washington on Wednesday 21 December, his first official visit since the outbreak of Russian military aggression against Ukraine on 24 February. (MB)
