CJEU rules that advantages must be afforded to compensate for difference in treatment between temporary agency workers and direct employees

The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) ruled in a judgment on Thursday, 15 December (Case C-311/21) that a collective agreement which allows for lower pay for temporary agency workers than for direct hires must necessarily provide for compensatory advantages.
