European Parliament recognises Holodomor as genocide

15/12/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 15 December, the European Parliament recognised the famine inflicted by the Soviet regime on Ukraine in 1932 and 1933, the Holodomor, as genocide of the Ukrainian people. “This artificial famine caused by a deliberate policy of the Soviet regime was committed with the intent to destroy a group of people by deliberately inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction”.
