Brussels, 28/10/2022 (Agence Europe) – At the coordinators’ meeting of the European Parliament’s Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development, held on Tuesday 25 October, it was decided to give the S&D political group the task of being the rapporteur (with shared competences, still under negotiation, with the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety) on the proposal for a regulation on the sustainable use of pesticides. The choice will be made on 8 November in the European Parliament’s Committee on Agriculture, but some believe that the task could be given to Clara Aguilera from Spain. (LC)
