22/07/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 20 July, the ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) appointed four judges to the General Court of the EU. Ioannis Dimitrakopoulos from Greece, Tihamér Tóth from Hungary and Gerhard Hesse from Austria were reappointed as judges while Elisabeth Tichy-Fisslberger from Austria was appointed as a judge for a first term of office. These appointments are for terms of office that begin on 1 September and end on 31 August 2028. They are part of the partial renewal of 26 judges of the General Court that took place in 2022. (MB)
