European Parliament approves addition of sanctions violation to list of European infringements

The European Parliament has given a favourable opinion on adding the violation of European sanctions to the list of European infringements (‘euro-crimes’). On 30 June, the Member States had called on MEPs to vote on the decision, having themselves expressed their support for it (see EUROPE B12983A150).
