IOM calls on Czech Presidency of EU Council to work on legal labour migration and legal identity of migrants and displaced persons

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) made, on Thursday 7 July, a series of recommendations to the Czech Presidency of the EU Council, focusing in particular on the development of legal channels for labour migration and on the problem of legal identity of migrants and displaced persons worldwide, with an estimated one billion people living without legal identity and without “access to basic services and safe movement”.
