AI, data and digital wallet, EU states take stock of progress on key issues

The Telecommunications Ministers of the EU Member States met on Friday 3 June in Luxembourg to review the progress of work on the major digital dossiers.

The ministers began by discussing the future regulation for harmonised rules for artificial intelligence (AI) (see EUROPE B12957A17).

On this issue, the French Presidency of the Council of the EU has insisted on the support necessary for innovation and the importance of using AI in the industrial sector.
