01/04/2022 (Agence Europe) – Since the start of the 2019-2024 legislature, the European Commission has presented 288 legislative proposals as of 31 March, according to an analysis by the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS) published on Friday 1 April. Of these 288 proposals, 135 have already been adopted. Of the 153 proposals under negotiation, 113 have gone through normal negotiations, 11 are close to adoption and 29 are making difficult progress or are blocked. Twelve legislative proposals have been withdrawn by the European Commission. There are still 204 proposals to be presented by the end of the legislature.
