22/02/2022 (Agence Europe) – The Commission adopted on Tuesday 22 February a delegated act allowing the issuance of recovery certificates under the EU Covid digital certificate on the basis of a positive result of a rapid antigen test. Until now, it was only possible to issue a recovery certificate following a positive PCR test result, the Commission said in a statement. To ensure the accuracy and reliability of the certificate, the rapid antigen test used must be on the EU Common List of Rapid Antigen Tests for Covid-19 and be performed by health professionals or qualified personnel. Member States may issue these certificates retroactively, based on tests carried out from 1 October 2021. The decision is immediately applicable. (SP)
