Trade in services continued to recover at end of 2021, but still faces many obstacles

02/02/2022 (Agence Europe) – Statistics published by the World Trade Organization (WTO) on 2 February show that trade in services continued to rise in the third quarter of 2021 (25% compared to the same period in 2020). This growth is due to digital and financial services, but also and above all to transport (+45% compared to 2020). However, trade in services remains 5% below 2019 levels. This is due to Covid-19 variants and travel restrictions. Passenger air transport continues to suffer....
