European Commission launches four measures to fight cancer

The European Commission unveiled on Wednesday 2 February four new measures to fight cancer under the specific European plan it presented in February 2021 (see EUROPE B12650A1).

The first measure concern a registry that will identify cancer inequalities between Member States and regions within Europe. The tool also highlights inequalities in cancer prevention and care due to gender, education and income level, as well as disparities between rural and urban areas.
