Several appointments to Director-General and Deputy Director-General positions

02/02/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission decided on Wednesday 2 February to transfer Veronica Gaffey (Ireland) to the position of Director-General of the Directorate-General for Informatics (DG DIGIT). The date of effect of this appointment is 1 March 2022. In addition, Clemens Ladenburger, from Germany, has been appointed Deputy Director-General of the Commission’s Legal Service, responsible for the quality of legislation, infringements and information.
