A report published on 12 November by the European Commission shows that EU exports employ 38 million people across the continent. This represents a 75% increase between 2000 and 2019. And exports increased by 130% over the same period.
Germany is the largest beneficiary of these jobs, with 9.3 million jobs supported by exports outside the EU in 2019. France and Italy come second and third.
