MEPs reiterate their “strong condemnation” of decision to ban de facto abortion in Poland

12/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 11 November, the European Parliament adopted, by 373 votes to 124 with 55 abstentions, a resolution strongly condemning the de facto ban on abortion in Poland, which came into force one year ago (see EUROPE B12817A6). Above all, MEPs call on the Polish government “to ensure that no more women die in Poland because of this restrictive law”.
