10/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 9 November, the Council of the EU approved the adoption of the regulation to implement joint clinical evaluations at European level. The regulation in question was the subject of an interim agreement between the EU Council and MEPs last June (see EUROPE 12746/12). The European Parliament’s Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) quickly gave the green light to the adoption of the negotiated text (see EUROPE 12763/35). The latter will still have to be approved by the European Parliament as a whole and should therefore be put to a vote in plenary next month.
