10/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – Until 30 November, the European Commission is inviting industry players, public authorities and civil society to give their views on the creation of a new industrial alliance to stimulate the supply and financing of renewable and low-carbon fuels. “The accelerated uptake of these fuels is fundamental in our effort to decarbonise transport, in particular in the aviation and maritime sectors”, commented Transport Commissioner Adina Vălean. This future alliance, the model of which should be inspired by other existing industrial alliances in the EU, should above all make it possible to develop new supply and production capacities, as well as storage networks.
