04/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 4 November, the European Commission approved allocations in the amount of €50 million under the REACT-EU initiative, as part of the modification of the operational programmes of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The Greater Poland region is expected to receive €28.5 million to support SMEs and the healthcare sector. The Opole region should be allocated €11 million euros to invest in the digital transition. The Lubusz region should be granted €10.5 million to renovate the energy and healthcare sectors. According to data from 19 October, €36 billion of the REACT-EU allocation (€50.6 billion) has already been allocated to Member States. (PH)
