03/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – The spokesman for the European External Action Service, on Tuesday 2 November in the evening, denounced the terrorist attack on the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan military hospital in Kabul earlier in the day, which left at least 19 people dead and around 50 injured inside the hospital. “Attacking a hospital is illegal under international law, goes against fundamental human rights and is a grave breach of Islamic values”, he stressed, calling for the perpetrators of this “despicable crime” to be brought to justice. The attack was claimed by the Afghan branch of the Islamic State. According to the spokesman, the continuing terrorist attacks in Afghanistan are a serious obstacle to peace and security. (CG)
