Geoffroy Didier’s DSA draft opinion report adopted by Parliament Committee

On Thursday 30 September, the members of the European Parliament’s Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI) adopted (15 votes in favour, 9 against, 0 abstentions) the draft opinion report of French MEP Geoffroy Didier (EPP) on the Digital Services Act (DSA) (see EUROPE B12800A7).

While the text was supported by a majority of MEPs, others, such as Patrick Breyer (Greens/EFA, Germany), felt that the proposals on the table were “dangerous”.
