24/08/2021 (Agence Europe) – The EURES Regulation establishing the European Job Mobility Portal has delivered recognised European added value, according to a European Commission report published on 18 August. EURES is comparable in efficiency to national public employment services, it says. The satisfaction rate of both jobseekers (70%) and employers (84%) is particularly high. The cost-effectiveness of EURES has also improved. But there are gaps: - not all national vacancies are available on the portal; - there is a wide disparity in service provision depending on the resources available at national level and in general; - EURES is not sufficiently visible to labour market actors.
