28/07/2021 (Agence Europe) – The Executive Agency for the European Innovation Council and SMEs (EISMEA) has launched a new call for tenders entitled ‘Study on the measurement of product non-compliance’ for certain sectors covered by Regulation 2019/1020 under the Market Surveillance Programme, according to a press release published on Tuesday 27 July. The call focuses on the methodology developed and proposed by the European Commission - in particular by the Directorate-General for the Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) and the Joint Research Centre (JRC) - to measure and monitor trends in non-compliance. In particular, the objective of this call for tender is to develop a study to test the application of this methodology and to provide recommendations on its further adaptation.
