27/07/2021 (Agence Europe) – The Union of European Railway Industries (UNIFE) announced on Monday 26 July that it is joining the European Apprenticeship Alliance (EAfA) to address the labour and skills shortage it is facing. The EAfA, created in 2013, aims to enhance the quality, availability and attractiveness of apprenticeships by networking and sharing experience and good practice with other Alliance members and the public. “UNIFE is proud to stand with the European Alliance for Apprenticeships and excited to collaborate with the group in the future to ensure that citizens can access rewarding careers in the European Rail Supply Industry”, said UNIFE Director General Philippe Citroën.
