20/07/2021 (Agence Europe) – Six European associations - Accountancy Europe, EACB, AECM, EBF, ESBG and SMEunited - call for national dialogues to improve access to data and assessment of the sustainability of SMEs’ financial health in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, in a joint statement published on Tuesday 20 July. These dialogues would aim to: - develop a sectoral view of particularly financially exposed indebted SMEs; - help governments better target their support measures and aid in their national recovery plans; - identify additional measures needed to assist ‘near-viable’ SMEs.
