29/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), in a statement issued on Monday 28 June, believes that there is a need to develop non-binary occupational safety and health legislation and administrative procedures to better integrate the LGBTI community. It also recommends that the promotion of a culture of “diversity” among national public authorities and labour inspectorates be strengthened. Indeed, the EU agency points out that the LGBTI community is more often subject to harassment and discrimination at work, which leads to stress, mental health problems, and potentially musculoskeletal diseases.
