SURE instrument - European Commission disburses another tranche of financial support to 12 Member States

On Tuesday, 25 May, the European Commission announced that it has disbursed €14.1 billion to 12 Member States under the seventh instalment of the SURE instrument, which aims to support national short-time work schemes in the context of the pandemic.

Thus, Belgium is expected to receive €2 billion, Bulgaria €511 million, Cyprus €124 million, Greece €2.54 billion, Spain €3.37 billion, Italy €751 million, Lithuania €355 million, Latvia €113 million, Malta...
