Official launch of new European Union Agency for the Space Programme

Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton was in Prague on Monday 24 May to inaugurate and officially launch the new European Union Agency for the Space Programme.

“This is the moment we have all been waiting for. The Space Programme Regulation has finally entered into force and we now have the framework we need for our great ambition in space”, said the Commissioner in the presence of the Agency's new Executive Director, Rodrigo da Costa.
