Outline of dispute settlement mechanism between investors and State party to CETA specified

The Joint Committee of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) adopted four decisions that provide the necessary administrative clarifications in the event of a dispute between an investor and a State party to the EU-Canada trade agreement on Friday 29 January.

According to the CETA text, the Joint Committee was responsible for adopting “as soon as possible” the administrative and organisational details of the functioning of the appeals tribunal.
