Lyudmila Petkova reappointed head of Code of Conduct group in EU Council

01/02/2021 (Agence Europe) – Bulgaria’s Lyudmila Petkova was reappointed on Monday 1 February to head the EU Council group responsible for monitoring the implementation of the EU Code of Conduct on Business Taxation for a period of two years. Director of Fiscal Policy in the Bulgarian Ministry of Finance, she was appointed chair of the group for the first time in 2019 (see EUROPE 12187/25), succeeding Italy’s Fabrizia Lapecorella. The Code of Conduct group is responsible in particular for the preparatory work establishing the EU’s ‘black’ list of non-cooperative tax jurisdictions. (MF)
