25/01/2021 (Agence Europe) – In a press release issued on Monday 25 January, SMEunited, the European organisation representing SMEs and the craft industry, welcomed the plans for a European Single Access Point (ESAP) for financial and non-financial information made public by enterprises in connection with the new action plan on the capital markets union (see EUROPE 12567/3). However, the organisation supports this initiative only as long as it aims to provide transparent access to existing published information and does not impose additional administrative burdens and new information obligations on SMEs.
